Connect Amazon

This guide will walk you through the process of having your customers log in to your WooCommerce store using their Amazon account.

Required: WooCommerce Social Login is a premium WooCommerce extension included with Managed WordPress Ecommerce, Managed WooCommerce Stores or as a standalone purchase.

Create a new app

  1. Sign in to your developer account.
  2. From Apps & Services, go to Login with Amazon and select Create a New Security Profile.
  3. Enter your app details:
    • Security Profile Name
    • Security Profile Description
    • Consent Privacy Notice URL
  4. Select Save and go to the General tab.
  5. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret. You will use these to configure your settings inside of WooCommerce.

Enter application details

  1. Sign in to WordPress.
  2. Go to WooCommerce and select Settings.
  3. From the Social Login tab, select Amazon.
  4. Select Enable Amazon.
  5. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret you copied from Amazon.
  6. Select Save changes.

Set allowed return URL

  1. Copy the allowed return URL from the top of the Social Login Amazon settings.
  2. Return to your Amazon developer account.
  3. Go to Settings and select Web Settings.
  4. Select Edit and enter the Allowed Return URL you copied.
  5. Select Save.
