What are the charges and fees for GoDaddy Payments?
GoDaddy Payments is a standalone payment processing service that is also built into several GoDaddy products such as Websites + Marketing, GoDaddy POS hardware, Online Pay Links, Invoicing and many more. GoDaddy Payments customers pay a fee that is charged per transaction, and subtracted from the amount you receive on your deposit (payouts). Fees vary based on type of transaction.
- Physical card transaction — This includes physical credit card transactions made using the GoDaddy Poynt Smart Terminal.
- Interac debit cards: There is a flat rate of $0.10 per transaction. Note that Interac debit is in-person only.
- All other credit and debit cards: A standard percentage is charged (2.3%), with no additional transaction fee.
- Ecommerce transaction — This includes transactions processed through your online store or Online Pay Links. A standard percentage is charged (2.7%) with no additional transaction fees. The same fees will apply to transactions in your online store/Online Pay Links that use Google Pay and Apple Pay.
- Manual entry transaction — This includes card charges processed through Virtual Terminal or the manual keypad entry on a GoDaddy smart terminal. A standard percentage is charged (3.3%) with no additional transaction fee.
- Chargeback fee — Effective November 8 2023, a $15 fee is incurred if your customer files a chargeback. This fee is incurred for every separate chargeback and is non-refundable. Learn more about chargebacks.
