Why is GoDaddy Payments (GDP) displaying instead of business descriptor on American Express bank statements?
For up to 2 days, Customers using American Express may see the GoDaddy Payments (GDP) prefix on their bank statements instead of the name of the business that created the charge. After the transaction has been settled by their bank and is no longer “Pending” (typically within 48 hours), the statement will update with the correct business descriptor.
