How do I use a credit card terminal?

To use a credit card terminal, you first need to ensure it's connected to a data source or Wi-Fi network and powered on. You can accept payment in various ways using the chip, magstripe or tap (NFC-enabled) mechanisms of the customer's card.

What kind of accessories or peripherals are compatible with the GoDaddy POS System?

The Smart Terminal includes the power adapter and docking station that enables you to connect other accessories such as kitchen printers, cash drawers, and barcode scanners.

The docking station can also be purchased separately if needed as a backup or replacement.

How long does it take for funds to appear in my bank account?

For transactions that are processed on a business day before 5 PM PT, the funds will appear the next business day. If the transactions are processed on a business day after 5 PM PT, the funds will appear in 2+ days. Transactions processed on a Friday will not appear until after the weekend.

How long does it take for the POS system to ship?

Your POS comes with free 3-day shipping. After your POS order has been approved, we’ll ship out the device that same day if the order is received prior to 12:30 PM PT on a business day so you receive it in 3 business days. If the order is received post 12:30 PM PT, or on a weekend, it will ship out the next business day. For example, if the order is received before 12:30 PM PT on a Tuesday, we’ll send it out that day, so you’ll receive the device by Friday afternoon. If you place an order on a Saturday, then we’ll ship it out on Monday, so you’ll receive it by Thursday afternoon.

To use a credit card terminal, you first need to ensure its powered on and connected to a data source or Wi-Fi network. GoDaddy Smart Terminals come with POS software preinstalled so you can get started immediately.
