Meet the people turning their dreams into reality.
Anna Diermeier
Anna is a passionate product designer. Since the birth of her two daughters, her heart beats not only for design and product graphics, but also for ecological responsibility and climate protection.
In 2020, she founded the start-up ZURÜCK, only using existing materials for the development and production of its products. "I’d like to actively influence our CO2 consumption and avoid the mountains of textile waste that arise from concepts like fast fashion and overproduction."
ZURÜCK, Munich Germany
Bejoseholo Aikhomun
Bejoseholo is on a mission to solve the logistics sector’s air pollution problem. Instant Pickup uses a triadic marketplace business model, bringing together companies and individuals in need of sustainable vans with eco-friendly van drivers.
“By working with diverse founders, the programme has given support, mentorship and introduced us to a community we wouldn’t have otherwise had access to. I’m extremely grateful to the programme team, GoDaddy, and Impact Hub King’s Cross.”

Dizzie Ramsey
A born entertainer, Dizzie has spent 20+ years in the entertainment industry at Radio Disney, the Phoenix Suns, Nickelodeon and as MC for the Harlem Globetrotters.
Five years ago, Dizzie started Just Energy Entertainment, holding events for children with disabilities, large corporations and the elderly. When Covid hit, they struggled to put on shows, but Dizzie generously supported his employees financially.
“I’m so excited for my Empower cohorts. There are other fighters out there like me, and to build this community, this comradery with other fighters, it’s just awesome.”

Makeda Cole
Makeda is committed to making fashion more sustainable and empowering others. Her business is rubbish — yes, it's using waste to create sustainable handbags. Bags can be revamped/upcycled into other household items, minimising waste through innovative design.
“I aim to challenge the fashion industry to take on more sustainable and ethical practices using innovative textiles and waste, creating a market for multi-use fashion items.”

Nicole Als
Nicole is a mother, creative writer, poet and playwright. She provides alternative/holistic therapy to her community and sells bespoke, handmade crystal jewelry. Her intent is to reveal that disabled therapists/practitioners/energy workers can be successful business owners, too.
“I am inspired to start this business because I want to be part of the movement to deconstruct negative stereotypes and judgements about people on low wages or unemployed, people with disabilities/chronic health conditions and black women.“
Soul Transformation Therapy & Crystals, London UK
