Set a custom 404 page in my Web Hosting (cPanel) account
404 pages display when someone tries to access a page on your website that doesn't exist. You can use your home page as your 404 page, or you can create a custom one as explained here.
Note: Server-side scripts, such as PHP, might not work on custom 404 pages because of how web server software (such as Apache) handles them.
- Go to your GoDaddy product page.
- Under Web Hosting, next to the Web Hosting (cPanel) account you want to use, select Manage.
- In the account Dashboard, select cPanel Admin.
- In the cPanel Home page, in the Advanced section, select Error pages.
- In Error Pages, under Step 1 - Select Domain to Manage Error Pages, select the domain you want to use.
- Below Step 2 - Edit Error Pages for: [your domain name], select 404 (Not found).
- Edit the custom HTML for the page, and then select Save.
