Mad Mimi is being discontinued
GoDaddy’s Mad Mimi will be discontinued on August 30, 2024. After that date, Mad Mimi customers will no longer have access to their Mad Mimi accounts. If customers choose to continue using GoDaddy Email Marketing, we'll migrate their Mad Mimi content when they start their migration to GoDaddy Digital Marketing services. See details below.
What happens to my Mad Mimi data?
Prior to Mad Mimi email marketing services being retired, Mad Mimi customers will have access to download their data from https://madmimi.com. Customer data that’s available for download includes contact lists, emails and campaign results. If you’re migrating to GoDaddy Digital Marketing for continued use of email marketing services, GoDaddy will migrate the most recent promotions and contacts for you and you may trial the product for free.
Will I receive a refund?
As a Mad Mimi customer, you’ll be charged for your last full month of Mad Mimi service. Any additional usage until the product’s retirement will not billed. Additional mailing credits will be available for purchase until August 15, 2024. If applicable, you'll be refunded a pro-rated amount for any non-monthly prepaid plans or email credits.
Does GoDaddy provide another email marketing product?
Yes, GoDaddy Digital Marketing offers email marketing capabilities. To learn more, log in to your Mad Mimi account and click Start Migration. You'll be presented a recommended GoDaddy Digital Marketing plan that you'll be able to try for free.
What is GoDaddy Digital Marketing?
GoDaddy Digital Marketing is an alternative email marketing product that allows you to create and distribute engaging marketing content, all from a single dashboard. If you’re an active Mad Mimi customer and want to continue using email marketing as a business tool after it’s discontinued, we'll migrate your Mad Mimi content when you start your migration to GoDaddy Digital Marketing services. *Disclaimer: Your free trial is for one month. You can choose any available monthly plan for your free trial. A credit card is required to sign up for the free trial. Once the free trial ends you will be charged for your selected plan unless you cancel your subscription. To cancel, go to your GoDaddy account, and you can choose to turn off auto-renew for Digital Marketing. You will not be charged if you cancel before the end of your trial period. Plans will automatically renew until cancelled.
What do I need to do to move over to GoDaddy Digital Marketing?
Go to the Mad Mimi website and sign in to your account. Upon login, you'll be guided through migration instructions that give you access to a free Digital Marketing trial. After selecting a Digital Marketing plan and starting your free trial, GoDaddy will provide a login under Email Marketing/Settings that will enable us to migrate your latest promotions and email contacts into the Digital Marketing plan. You'll have 30 days to evaluate the offer and after that you’ll be billed for usage.
Do my Mad Mimi Email Promotion stats get migrated to GoDaddy Digital Marketing?
No, your email promotion stats will be available for you to download and retain from the Mad Mimi website.
What else can I do within GoDaddy Digital Marketing that’s not available in Mad Mimi?
In addition to email marketing services, GoDaddy Digital Marketing provides opportunities to expose and grow your brand via social media, communicate with your customers, create branded content and generate new leads.
What happens if all of my promotions are not migrated from my Mad Mimi account?
You'll have access to all your email promotions on Mad Mimi but only the most recent promotions will be automatically migrated. For any promotions that aren’t automatically imported and that you'd like to use, you'll have the ability to download all content from Mad Mimi. From there, any promotion may be manually imported using the Create Custom HTML option within GoDaddy's email marketing.
What happens if I have Child Account data on Mad Mimi?
Child accounts are not supported within GoDaddy Digital Marketing. Child account contacts will be migrated along with parent contact data.
