Set IP addresses for load balancing and failover backup hosting
If your website is hosted on multiple servers with more than one public IP address, or if your website has a backup IP address in case of technical trouble, you can easily configure the firewall to use these IP addresses in the Website Security Firewall's dashboard.
- Go to your GoDaddy product page.
- Next to Website Security and Backups, select Manage All.
- Under Firewall, select Details.
- Select Settings.
- Select Hosting IP Address.
Next, add multiple hosting IP addresses for load balancing or add backup IP addresses as an emergency failover.
- Select Hosting from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the IP and select Add Address.
- Select Backup from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the IP and select Add Address.
