About .ag Domains

Nic.ag is the sponsor and Identity Digital is the backend servicer for the country-code top-level domain name (ccTLD) .ag extension that represents Antigua and Barbuda.

Who can register .ag domains?

Anyone can register .ag, .com.ag, .net.ag, and .org.ag domain names.

  • .ag: Intended for Antigua and Barbuda businesses or individuals.
  • com.ag: Intended for commercial entities.
  • .net.ag: Intended for network infrastructures, such as Internet Service Providers.
  • .org.ag: Intended for non-profit organizations.

Registration restrictions

When registering a .ag domain, you must follow specific requirements.

  • Must use: 1-63 characters
  • Can use: Letters (a-z characters), numbers (0-9) and hyphens (except in the 1st or last characters of the domain name)
  • Cannot use: Special Characters (e.g., & and #)
  • IDNs: Not supported

Features

  • Registration length: 1-10 years
  • Renewal length: 1-10 years
    • Your .ag domain name renews on the day after its expiration date. We'll attempt to auto-renew your domain the day after the expiration date. If the first renewal attempt fails, we'll continue attempting auto-renewal multiple times until the 12th day after the domain's expiration date.
    • If we cannot auto-renew the domain name and you do not manually renew it by the 12th day after the expiration date, you can attempt to recover your domain with any applicable fees.
  • Backorders: Not supported
  • Transfers to GoDaddy: Not supported
  • Transfers away from GoDaddy: Supported
  • Transfers to another GoDaddy account: Supported
  • Domain Privacy: Not supported
  • Domain Protection: Not supported
  • CashParking: Supported
