Back up my website
Your site automatically saves as you go, and it creates a backup after major changes such as changing your theme, deleting a section or resetting your site. However, you may want to create a manual backup as well.
Warning: Your website backup only backs up your site's sections, text and settings. It doesn't include other parts of your account, such as blogs, marketing emails, products, appointments or images.
- Go to your GoDaddy product page.
- Scroll down, expand Websites + Marketing and select Manage next to your site.
- Select Edit Website or Edit Site.
- Select SETTINGS.
- Select Site History.
- Select Create Backup.

- Once you've created a backup, you can rename it, delete it or restore it anytime.
