Change my email routing for Web Hosting (cPanel)
Warning: If you’re experiencing issues with email not working properly after a CloudLinux migration, follow the steps in this article to toggle Email Routing from Automatically Detect Configuration to Local Mail Exchanger or your preferred exchanger based on where your email is being hosted.
If you have a Web Hosting (cPanel) website but want to use a different email provider (such as Microsoft 365), you may need to update your email routing in cPanel.
- Sign in to your GoDaddy product page.
- Select Web Hosting, and then select Manage for your desired Web Hosting (cPanel) plan.
- Select cPanel Admin.
- Select Email Routing.
- Select the Domain dropdown list and choose your domain.
- Choose your desired mail exchanger.
- Select Change.
Your chosen mail exchanger setting will be in bold text.
