Choose my home page in WordPress
Step 4 of the Build my WordPress site series.
Here's how to choose which page is displayed by default when someone visits your site.
- Sign in to WordPress.
- In the left-side menu, select Settings and then Reading.
- Next to Your homepage displays, select A static page (select below) and then in the Homepage list select the page you want.
- Or, if you want to use your blog page as your home page, select Your latest posts.
- Select Save Changes.
Once you choose your home page, you're ready to add pages to your navigation menu.
