Set up my Website Security plan

After you purchase a Website Security plan and begin the activation process, this setup guide will take you through the next steps to complete configuration.

Before you begin activating your security product:

• Make sure your site is live so all features can be added properly.
• Have your site's DNS and FTP credentials handy.
  • cPanel customers: Find my FTP username for Linux Hosting
  • Plesk customers: Find your FTP login or username for Plesk hosting
  • Managed WordPress/Professional Web Services (PWS) customers: use SFTP instead. See Upload files with SFTP and use steps 1-5 to find your SFTP information.
• Be prepared for possible brief downtime due to DNS propagation when activating the firewall.
