Now that you've paid for your new domain name, the final step is to get the domain transferred to your account. A Transfer Assurance agent will handle all the details of the transfer process on your behalf. They'll contact you directly to facilitate the transfer.
Once the domain is successfully moved into your account, you'll want to check a few important things:
- Verify the contact information listed on your domain name and make any necessary changes.
- Review your payment methods to make sure your domain is attached to a valid payment method.
- Turn on auto renew to make sure your new domain doesn't cancel due to expiration.
