Work with layers

Layers separate the elements of your project, allowing you to combine different images, graphics, shapes and text in unique ways, so creating depth and richness.

Select your device to find out how to work with layers:

  1. Sign in to your GoDaddy Studio app
  2. Create a project or edit an existing project.
  3. At the top of the screen, select GoDaddy Studio layers icon iOS Layers to see the layer stack for the page you’re on.

Change the layer order

The order in which layers appear in the layer stack reflects where each part of the design appears on your canvas. The top-most layer is at the front.

To change the position of a layer, select and hold the GoDaddy Studio layers icon iOS selection icon to the right of it, and then drag it to a new position.

Note: The background layer can’t be moved and will always be right at the back.
