Our time frame is 7–10 business days from the purchase date of your GoDaddy Migration.

When your Migration Experts complete their internal QA, you will get an email with a preview link to view the migrated content. At that point, you can give us a call, or we will reach out to you to finalize the migration and make it go live.

Ideally, you wouldn't make changes during the process of moving the content. If you make changes, it could cause discrepancies between your current website and the one we migrated. If you make changes to your website while it's being migrated, we’ll provide a one-time courtesy sync of those updates.

Your current website will remain live during the duration of the migration. There may be a brief period of downtime during the cutover while we update DNS and security settings, but the time should be minimal.

We can migrate websites most efficiently with WordPress credentials, Cpanel credentials and/or FTP credentials to your current live site. It depends on how your website is currently setup, but we will make sure to go over all of that on our intake call and confirm we have access.

Unfortunately, proprietary website builders such as Wix, Weebly, Squarespace and Shopify do not allow their code to be moved away from their platform. If you are currently using one of those platforms and purchase Website Migration, not to worry, we can refund that and put the money toward a new platform, or you can use our Website Design Services to create a unique and tailored website.

Unfortunately, the Migration service would only be able to cover the website files. If you have email associated with your hosting plan, we have an Email Services team that can help you migrate all the information to our Microsoft 365 platform, visit our Email Migration for more information.

Absolutely, most of our platforms come with a free SSL Certificate that we will help setup and help make sure the website is secure before closing our ticket. If you had purchased Website Security for CDN or Firewall, we would make sure that is attached as well. We also offer a Managed SSL Service.

If your current website is offline, it makes it a little more difficult for us, but if you have a backup of your website, we will do our best to ensure the information you provided is uploaded to your new hosting and put in place. If there are potential issues with your site after that, we have dedicated teams that will take a look and help you with attempting to fix it.

We can try at moving the website but will not fix the broken elements of the website. The purpose of our Website Migration is to move your website in entirety the way it’s currently configured. Ideally, if the website is built with WordPress, you can purchase credits for our Premium Support team to fix the website prior to migrating into the GoDaddy Hosting platform.
