The what:
What kind of projects do you prefer to work on?
A complete digital marketing projects that include web and app development, branding, SEO, and social media marketing among others.
Could you describe your typical client (if you have a typical client)?
We have been serving all sorts of clients globally (B2C, B2B etc). We also provide outsourcing services to various digital marketing agencies around the world.
Sometimes we’re in a position where it’s necessary to turn down projects. What do those situations look like for you, and how do you manage them?
Fortunately, we have not come across such projects that we had to turn down.
Performance is always important, but sometimes we have to pay close attention to value as well. How do you position GoDaddy products and services for your clients?
I have always recommended GoDaddy to my clients. Most of our clients are using GoDaddy for their hosting and other related services.
Could you describe a project that you feel exemplifies you at your best?
We came across a challenge: relaunching Energy, a milk product by the government of India. The challenge was to find the niche, reposition and relaunch the competing soda market. We did it, achieving better market share. We were also recognized for our achievement.
The how:
An obvious metric for measuring our own success is how much you got paid versus how much time it took. In your experience, what are the advantages and drawbacks here?
The advantage of the time rate system is that the quality of production gets improved, equality among employees goes up and it’s good for the overall development of the company.
However, the time rate system can be affected by inefficiency, dearth of skilled workers and production costs.
How does GoDaddy Pro fit into what you do? Could you recommend any ways to get the most value out of it — especially to someone just starting out?
Yes, we would recommend it.
Imagine you could travel back in a time machine to a point where you were like, Forget this. I’m done! What advice would you give yourself?
Keep going. Eventually, you are sure to reach where you want to go.
What’s your parting shot for people who want to be like you when they grow up?
Be focused.
