Often referred to as the Silicon Valley of India, Bengaluru is the IT and technology hub of India. Home to thousands of IT professionals, web developers, software professionals, it was the ideal destination for all WordPress enthusiasts.
WordCamp Bengaluru 2023 was the first ever WordCamp held in Bengaluru. This created even more excitement amongst all attendees as well as the sponsors. With 37 speakers and 300+ attendees, it was one of the largest WordCamps in the region! This created even more excitement amongst attendees and sponsors.

The venue for the event was CMR University Lakeside campus. It was a picture-perfect setting for a beautiful Saturday morning in Bengaluru. The event started sharp at 9 am with registrations and the excitement amongst all the attendees was contagious.
It was a fruitful day of learning for all of us, as the speakers generously shared their experience and expertise. Wordcamp sessions were taking place throughout the day, and there was something for everyone. Many sessions were beginner-friendly, while advanced users can look forward to sessions on migrations and dev environments.
GoDaddy was the platinum sponsor at the event and had a prominent presence in the sponsors area. The other sponsors included a variety of companies from Hosting, Theme and plug in development companies, Web security, web design agencies.
The GoDaddy team met up with numerous GoDaddy customers at the event. We spoke with them about their business, experiences working with us and captured important feedback. These valuable feedback always helps us to understand and push forth with we can do for our customers. We had some good discussions with members from the WP (WordPress) community on some of the emerging trends and how companies can can work towards incorporating them into their daily workflows.
GoDaddy had a lucky draw at the booth, where we gave away an Apple Ipad to one lucky winner. The excitement at the booth was palpable as we pulled out the name of the lucky winner.
