By the numbers:
- Total Attendees: Over 2,500 participants from more than 70 countries attended WordCamp Europe 2024, making it a truly global event.
- Contributor Day: 726 contributors participated, working across 25 teams. They translated 79,059 strings for the WordPress interface into 29 languages and onboarded new contributors for support forums and testing teams.
- Volunteers and Organizers: A dedicated team of 250 volunteers organized the event, showcasing WordCamp Europe's community-driven spirit.
Learning Opportunities:
- Sessions and Workshops: Over 40 sessions across three days will cover various topics, from technical deep dives to creative explorations of WordPress.
- Youth Workshop: Young attendees had the chance to participate in a workshop where they built WordPress websites, discovered new technologies, and learned about online safety.
- Wellness Track: There was a wellness-themed track that featured yoga sessions and guided walking tours around Torino, allowing participants to take a break from their screens and enjoy the city's scenic beauty.
